6th Grade Activities

Julie Atkins along with Konnie Clayton as co-chair and a wonderful parent committee head up our 6th Grade Activities.

A note from Julie:
Our job is to send off our kids in style to 7th grade by planning fun and memorable events, promoting fundraisers to pay for those activities, as well as providing each 6th grader with a special t-shirt, yearbook and slide show CD. We intend to involve the students in the fundraising and also wish to plan some community service events as well.

Potential activities include a Valentine’s Sock Hop and trip to Celebration Station in the Spring. Upcoming fundraisers include dinner for the PTA Open House on September 2nd, car wash, candy, popcorn, snowcone and baked goods sales at the Fall Picnic, and possibly afterschool.
