PTA Role: Newsletter

I have been part of our PTA for two years, putting together our weekly newsletter and keeping families informed about everything happening at school.

Before becoming a stay-at home mom to my now fourth and second grader, I worked in the non-profit world where I focused on fundraising, event planning, and volunteer coordination. My experience showed me firsthand how vital volunteers are to a thriving school–which inspired me to get involved with the PTA.

Favorite part of volunteering: Getting the opportunity to see how each PTA role operates and how all the different pieces come together to support our school.
